Research

These slides describe the research that I have done to date and my plans for future research. They were presented to the School of Computing and Communications at Lancaster University and serve as a good overview:

Below are some example applications that I implemented previously.

A tool that generates a Foaf file from your Facebook profile, compiled from the information that Facebook has stored about you. It also includes details about your friends, along with geographical placement of your current location or hometown.

The sourcecode is online at SourceForge: http://fbfoafgenerator.sourceforge.net/

A tool that plots your Facebook social network on a map of the UK. Showing the location of each of your respective friends across the country. The tool works by combining Facebook's API with Google Maps.
